600 S. PARK AVE BRECKENRIDGE, CO 80424 970-453-2071
Welcome to Mi Casa Restaurant & Cantina, your home for delicious Mexican food in the heart of Breckenridge, Colorado!
Since we opened our doors back in 1981, we’ve been a comfortable, family-friendly option within the Breckenridge dining scene that offers a laid-back atmosphere right across the street from the renowned Peak 9 Village.
Being just a short walk from the Quicksilver Chairlift, Mi Casa has been a go-to spot for après ski and happy hour outings that’s grown alongside the ski resort for over 40 years.
Our menu is a true celebration of Mexican cuisine that features bold flavors and eclectic dishes like sizzling fajitas and handmade tamales that pair perfectly with our famous house margaritas and extensive tequila selection.
Whether you’re craving happy hour tacos after a day on the slopes or looking for a casual night out with family and friends, Mi Casa serves up something for everyone.
Located on the south end of town near the Peak 9 base area, Mi Casa is so much more than a restaurant that offers incredible food.
Our lively cantina is the perfect place to grab a drink and unwind after a day of skiing or hiking in the nearby resort or White River National Forest, and our affordable prices have made us a top-rated family restaurant in Summit County for large groups of all kinds.
One thing that separates Breckenridge apart from other ski towns throughout the country is its incredibly rich history that dates back to the 19th century gold rush, and all of us at Mi Casa are incredibly proud to be a staple in Breck’s unparalleled cuisine history.
We first opened our doors back in the mid-70s when the ski resort was just beginning its expansion on Peak 9 under the leadership of renowned restaurateur, Mike Jarvis. Back then, the ski seasons were short and the off seasons were long—which led to Mi Casa temporarily closing in 1980 before being purchased and managed by new owners.
In 2022, Mi Casa passed down the torch to a group of Breckenridge locals. We’ve since ensured that Mi Casa’s strong brand as a hub for community events and celebrations has remained the same, and we’ve also taken a few steps forward to maintain innovation and elevate our dining experience.
We’re incredibly proud of our rich history as one of Summit County’s oldest, existing restaurants, and we’ll continue to look forward into the future as we carry on our legacy as one of the best family restaurants in Breckenridge!
Everything that makes Mi Casa the special, family restaurant that it is for the Breckenridge community starts at the very top with our Leadership, Service and Kitchen Teams.
We’re truly blessed to work with a group of amazing people and rising cuisine stars who put everything into our dining experience on a daily basis, so come visit us soon and get to know the Mi Casa family!
One of our biggest community partnerships is with the
Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC). Every year, we host the BOEC’s fundraising events to help support their mission of providing inspiring outdoor experiences for people with disabilities and special needs.
The Cycle Effect’s mission is to empower young women through mountain biking to create brighter futures and build stronger communities on Colorado’s Western Slope.
Each year we host a fundraiser dinner for Treetop where a portion of our proceeds from each meal are donated to this incredible organization.
TreeTop Child Advocacy Center’s mission is to support child victims of abuse and their families through intervention, advocacy, and support services.
As an independently owned restaurant, we care for our guests, our community, and our staff equally.
We believe we have an opportunity and a responsibility to try and correct a long-standing issue in the restaurant industry: the disparity between Front of House and Back of House wages. Our Back of House and host staff are hard-working, talented, and absolutely essential to the success of our business, and to your experience as a guest. However, the modern tipping structure in this country overlooks them, and often leaves them making considerably less than their tipped counterparts.
When you combine that wage gap with the high cost of living in our mountain community, it becomes very clear that we must do more to support these vital people behind the scenes. In small restaurants such as ours that focus on from-scratch recipes and quality ingredients, we cannot operate, much less thrive, without the line & prep cooks and dishwashers that keep the wheels turning.
To help correct this issue, we collect a 3% Surcharge on to every guest check, which goes directly to our hourly non-tipped employees, divided equally based on number of hours worked.
We believe that this is a fair and equitable solution to a difficult problem, and want to maintain our integrity & honesty with you, our customers.
We thank you for your understanding, and appreciate your support in creating a more equitable restaurant environment!
